Verdant (X). This item contains lifeforce that can be synthesized by its bearer. As a bonus action, you can draw this energy and use some or all of the armor's Verdant Pool to heal yourself as if you had spent that many Hit Dice. The item has a Verdant Pool equal to the number shown. This pool can be replenished by spending your own hit dice during a short rest, and will automatically be refreshed after a long rest.
Roots. As a bonus action, you can root yourself in place, be it to a floor, a wall, or even a ceiling. While rooted, your speed becomes 0 and you have advantage on Anchor saves. If an effect would move you without allowing such a save, you can make an Anchor save with disadvantage (cancelled by the roots' advantage) to ignore the effect. You can uproot yourself anytime during your turn as a free action.
Verdant weapons use the same base stats as regular weapons, but appear as natural items, such as a large leaf as a blade. Verdant weapons increase the cost of a regular weapon by 1000 and have the following property.
Thriving. Whenever you land a critical hit, if you are standing on natural terrain (or have taken root with verdant armor), you can immediately heal as if you had spent one Hit Dice. If you are wearing an item with a Verdant Pool, you can alternatively store this dice in that item, provided its Pool wasn't already full.
